Magix desychronizing audio and video on imported clips! HELP!

I recorded a video through my webcam. I then imported that video into magix movie edit pro 2020.

Then I attempt to play through the clip in the timeline editor. While watching the clip play, part way through the playback the video glitches. After the glitch, the audio continues in normal order but the video has jumped to a random spot in the clip. The audio and video are no longer sync'd and there's no way to undo the glitch. Even when I close Magix and then reopen, starting a new project, the imported video is glitched and irreparable.

This is happening on several clips from several sources.

I'm really at a loss here. This is happening on almost every imported clip. I have lost some of the original footage and have had to reshoot to get a clean clip.

Please try right clicking on the clip in the timeline and selecting "Create (new) Frametable"

Yes, I'm back.

So the latest. I recorded from CamCorder through OBS (all settings as suggested in this forum). Then processed the video through Handbrake (also with suggested settings) and then imported to Magix. I used the, "Create new frame table" before even viewing the video. Playback within MEP started and it looked fine. I stopped playback and selected a point about half way through the video clip. When I started playback, the video had desyncronized from the audio.

I just don't get it.

Any last suggestions before I give up on MEP?

Hi Kris.

Could you give us the text view from MediaInfo of the altered Handbrake clip you have now imported into the program to edit?

I just purchased and downloaded the newest version of MEP and I wasn't having any issues with this the first month I had it, but now everything is desyncing. All of my files are running at a constant frame rate. I'm hoping MAGIX can get a patch out soon because I have a deadline for my current project.

Hi.

Personally I would not hold your breath. There have not been any patches for some time now and a new version does not at present seem to be forthcoming.

As the OP has been asked we need more information:

a MediaInfo analysis of the video clip that is desynching - post the results from the Text view
details of the source device or software that the video was recorded with and is this the same source as when it was 'working'.
What change between working and not working?
Your computer specification - see this topic for details required and please quote processor, and any installed graphics card, make/model in full.
