Hmm I cannot edit my response above to add the info. So I installed the trial of VPX17 on my INtel-only laptop where VPX16 WAS working but Studio 2026 was giving the missing part error. Sadly now the newly installed trial AND the existing Studio 2026 are broken wit the same error. Dang!

 

OK I rebooted and tried again. VPX17 Trial asked me to send the crash log which I did, attempted to view the log but as always that does nothing. This time it opened without the error. Studio 2026 however continues to give the problem.

Desktop: ASUS TUF Z790+ Custom build with: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 Build 19045.7291 on Intel Core i9-13900K and 64GB RAM and ZOTAX RTX 5070ti GPU. 2 x QHD monitors one connected to iGPU and one to RTX.

MAGIX Video Pro X16 v22.0.1.270 UDP3 and Movie Studio 2025 on desktop and 2026 on laptop

I had the same problem with Magix Video Pro X.17.

But my Windows 11 system also had Topaz Video and Topax Video AI installed.

After removing both, X17 started normal again without the error message or the application crashing.

Though, I find it very curious that a 3rd party software can cause such an error with X17 or apparently any other video software from Magix? Can someone enlighten me?
