Movie Studio 2022 crashing often

MELVINCV wrote on 12/30/2021, 10:33 PM

Does anyone else face this issue? Movie Studio 2022 keeps crashing on loading some youtube videos. Is there a way to generate a bug report?

Also, this is very different from VEGAS movie studio 16 which I upgraded from... I am finding it difficult to operate as the controls and screens are different. How to go about learning this totally new interface?

Honestly, the VEGAS timeline seems better...

Hi

. . . . How to go about learning this totally new interface? . . . .

See the tutorials listed in this pinned comment.

Once you get familair with Movie Studio 2022 you will find it is more fully fetaured than VMS and is more versatile.

The crashing may be an issue with the video format you are capturing from YT, or some settings in the program are not optimal.

What is your omputer specification, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

Are the graphics card drivers up to date?

A screen shot of the Program settings, Device options tab would help.

Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the YT clips and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip to get the full data that you can post directly into a comment..
