    RE: A Minute with MAGIX - #02 Auto-Tune Effect
@tranceful @Jesse-Torres The "Elastic Audio" component was superseded by the more streamlined "Vocal Tune" years ago. You'd still find this in the same manner as "Elastic Audio", e.g. by right-clicking on an audio object to bring up the context menu, and going to the "Pitch & Tempo" sub menu => "Vocal Tune" option. The current hotkey is "S". In the more current product generations that use

RE: Creating a Fancy Title Intro using Magix Movie Edit Pro
@Vitaly Hi, There are 2 different ways of using masks in MEP. The first way, and what you are referring to is done by masking an effect on a single video or photo. See the tutorial indicated below, particularly from 8:30 onwards. You either create or load a mask using the dropdown arrow of an effect, Create effect mask or Load effects mask. This puts the effect onto the track below the video and

RE: Creating a Fancy Title Intro using Magix Movie Edit Pro
Hi and thanks for this tutorial. I'm trying to follow it but there is something I don't quite understand. I'm talking about a small title, at the bottom, that you start explaining from 4:20. I can't seem to figure out how to apply that mask with chromakey with alpha effect. As far as I understand, we can only apply a mask to an effect that has a particular icon (rectangle with a circle inside in

RE: Magix Movie Edit Pro - Basic Editing Part 2 - Cutting and Trimming
John, Thank you for these introductory videos. They will certainly save me lots of time and frustration once I finally get to actually editing some video.   In the mean time I am really struggling with how to either record decent quality video, or record elsewhere and import into MEP. I have had no success at either thus far.Do you know of any tutorials that teach how to record with MEP? I've

RE: Magix Movie Edit Pro - Basic Editing Part 2 - Cutting and Trimming
Thank you John. The best of any tutorial I've seen since buying the program. I'd guess that not even 15% of the You Tube videos are worthwhile and I concur with your assessment on the information contained in your beginning tutorials. They probably save people about a year of trial and error experimentation. This program is a bear to learn so thanks again for a great contribution to the cause.

RE: Getting started in Music Maker 2015 Premium - a few tips
Hi Greg, I have started a new Getting Started in MusicMaker tutorial more than once, never finished. If you buy Plus or Premium, look at some of the other threads about activation, downloading and installing. There is a tutorial about this at: https://www.magix.info/us/tutorials/how-to-unlock-functions-instruments-soundpools-and-presets--1200673/ John CB

RE: Getting started in Music Maker 2015 Premium - a few tips
Thanks John, I must have had video issues. I went to YT and subscribed to your videos. I'm really interested in learning how to use Music Maker to make some nice pads for Worship service. We are a small church and only have a pianist, guitarist and me as a drummer. Looking to create a fuller sound. So this shall be an interesting journey for me. Again thanks!

RE: Getting started in Music Maker 2015 Premium - a few tips
@Greg-Kavonius The title of the tutorial is "Getting Started in Music Maker 2015 Premium..." Of course it's outdated - 2015 should be a tipoff, no? The video still works, I just tried it, and it's also on my YT channel. The newer versions are quite different, but some of the fundamentals are the same. John CB

Very outdated and you can no longer access the video. Pretty sad!

RE: Working with 9:16 Aspect ratio video - eg from smart phones.
Thank you for the tutorial! However, I am not able to replicate that. I even contacted tech support and they were unable to replicate it either and have forwarded it to the developers. Clearly you are able to, but on export, mine reverts to 16:9. I have attached my process and the email from tech.

RE: Getting started: MAGIX Photo Story
Having experience of Proshow Producer I thought I would be able to fathom out how to do pan and zoom effects although it would not be the same easy route as Proshow. It was easy to do transitions in Photostory Deluxe 2016 but I am still confused on how to do pan and zoom effects. The amount of effects etc. Photostory can do according to the demo files makes it seem a bargain at the price as

    RE: Change loops Chords
Using MM19 here, there's no way to edit an object from the soundloop... no menu, no button, only properties...? Also, the Pitches button with down arrow at the top right on the arranger screen is always greyed out... So does this mean you're stuck with whatever key the soundloop was recorded in, and cant change it? Also, some of the loops are longer, some are shorter. If the longer ones dont

    RE: A Minute with MAGIX - #02 Auto-Tune Effect
I just purchased Magix 2019 Plus Edition and it does not have Elastic Audio included and all the videos I saw of it shows it included so since I planned on upgrading and this was supposed to be on this version I bought it. Can someone please give some info on this matter?

RE: How to add titles in Movie Edit Pro
Hi Anna, As mentioned in the post directly above yours, 6th June 2017, it's better to post in the main MEP forum. 🙂 However ... you fade in titles the same way as any other object, by dragging the fade handle at its start and/or end. I'd recommend you view John Brown's basic introductory tutorials. Best wishes, Terry, East Grinstead, UK

RE: Making a new collage in MEP
@terrypin I have to admit, I never got around to making my own collage and saving it for reuse until now. It worked perfectly in VPX. I thought that there was some trick to replacing the template images with new images by renaming them. I was wrong. My niece visited last week and left me 500 photos, portrait mode, to turn into a video. There are various themes, like a dozen or so photos of a
