i am disappointed. I installed the basic / not the free version. Dont understand why no sound. I have googled/ youtube for answer and even been seaching Magix website for an answer with no luck. Nothing should be this hard to get an answer for.. If I pay for something I should be able to use it . and have some support. It is truly not for beginners ..

Totally frustrated with this program. Found an intro tutorial and it did not match my program. I have mastered lightroom and parts of photoshop.with the help of some excellent tutorials. I have spent all day trying to finds a location on this website to purchase a voucher to talk to someone about re-installing Sound-Forge 9 after my hard drive failed and had to be replaced.. I re-installed the program but it wont run with out entering the serial number. The serial number in the book gives me 'an invalid' number.Any one that can tell me how to buy a voucher would be very helpful.

Good idea to update the tutorial John. I like the idea of each channel that is linked gets a blue rectangle around it to show at a glance which channels are active. I also like the way volume levels are relative to each other when moved. This is much more useful than each slider changing direction by the same amount and keeps volumes relative to each other. I'd guess that not even 15% of the You Tube videos are worthwhile and I concur with your assessment on the information contained in your beginning tutorials.
