  @john_barr As I read it some weeks ago, the Samplitude team was responsible for Sound Forge 12 until version 18. Since they left for Boris FX it now is back again at the Vegas team. I'm not sure if they will do something with it.

  Thank you rraud, I did try volume adjustments but that didn't improve the dullness just increased the volume. I'm not very good with using EQ in this situation but I will give it a go. I can always go back if it doesn't work out.

  Are you referring to the 'mix' process? Do you have Sound Forge 12 Audio Studio or SF Pro. SFAS 12 was a unique build and had a few processes other SF versions did not and the UI was also different.. (good and bad) .

  @James-Fleming6483 @browj2 The screen recorder records only the screen, no audio. For both, you need to use a different app, like OBS. John, not correct. Magix will record audio.

  @AAM Thanks for the Windows version. Error code 5 Access violation is a Window issue, he most likely cause is a Windows Update. To check your system, close all running programs then:- Hold down the Windows Key and press XSelect - Terminal (Admin)
