  [Solved] Editing problem in Sound Forge 17
  For some reason I can no longer just highlight a portion of an audio file in SF 17 and use the "SAVE AS" command to save that portion of the file to my desktop. Every time I do it, SF 17 saves the complete file instead of the portion I selected.

  I cannot duplicate the behavior. I used the bit rate converter to convert a stereo 44.1k/16 bit file to FP-32 bit and 'Save as' to create a new file, No issues with the new file.Maybe try resetting SF (in the 'File' menu).

  @Justin-Brummer I see you are attempting to save your file to OneDrive. Try using a different location on your computer, NOT your desktop either! As a general rule, with most types of files it is considered to never be a good idea to save directly

  @Bill-Fike Please also check in the Windows Energy Options and that your computer doesn't run in energy saving mode and doesn't has USB port energy saving enabled. This might interfere with external USB audio interface.
