@Derek-Davidson Which paths are in your VST paths settings? If there are paths with DLLs other than VST-DLLs program might crash, of course. DAWs usually know the standard VST3 paths because these are standardized and mustn't be changed by plugin

Apply a VST plug-in while recording?

Hi, I've been using Sound Forge for about 25 years for voiceover recording. I just upgraded to Sound Forge Pro 18.0.0, Build 21, and I'm trying to figure out how to apply a plug-in as I'm recording. Is this possible, and does anyone have any hints

Acid won’t stop scanning for plugins & shutting down.

In acid pro 11, I ran a scan for my VSTs because some weren’t pulling up. i clicked force rebuild and now every time I open acid, it scans for VSTs until it crashes.

Some plugins just showing up as a black box when installed

Hi I have Acid Pro 8/9 , 95 percent of my plugins work but I have found some that when installed only show a black box and no GUI or sound. I have found this with e,g the free Emergence vst and some other Glitch vsts (demos). Any help would be great

Check the "Options> Preferences> VST Effects" menu. If they are installed, and the pertinent (search) folder is enabled, the RX plug-ins should be in the list at the bottom of the window. If they are, you can add them to the "Fx Plug-ins" menu

Is there anyway of keeping multiple vsts on the Acid Pro screen ?

Hi I have Acid Pro 8 , is there anyway of keeping multiple vsts on the screen as everytime I click on a vst selection the previous one clicks off , would be handy for tweaking 2 vst that are chained together etc. If not is there a work around ? Atm
