  @AJenn Yes, Focusrite is a developer of USB audio interfaces. I also use an older model (Focusrite Scarlett 2i4). I connect it via USB and then I connect my microphone/speakers/headphones to it and select the Focusrite ASIO driver in the program

  @William-Middleton Ok. then you need to check the manual or the online help of Casio. You probably need to install a MIDI driver first or connect your keyboard with an USB cable, so that "Casio USB MIDI" is availabe.

  [Solved] Cant' get the Midi to fully connect with software
  I plug in my midi and (normally) I can play the midi while my song is paused and hear the notes as I physically play them. I would also be able to hit a note in the midi editor and hear that too. Today I plugged in the midi and saw the midi icon

  @William-Middleton Can you select your keyboard as a MIDI input under File > Settings > Program Settings > Audio/MIDI? No, it doesn't ever show up at all. Even though the computer and casio keyboard shows it is connected.
