@TechWizard . . Both of my monitors are connected to the 1080 . . . . I agree with John and Ray - connect each GPU to a different monitor. I have the Display Port from the Intel connected to my primary monitor and my Nvidia to my secondary monitor

@emmrecs Hi Jeff. That's good to know. I was referring to the general feel and use of the new program though. Having now gone through four very expensive internal sound cards over the years I have given up on my new build. The new motherboard has as

Is this a new program or will it be an update option?
As Video Pro X now comes with a new 'Infusion Engine'. does that make it effectively a new program or an update? I ask because I'm not sure. I know those of you that have already downloaded it possibly paid to upgrade. Am I correct? The other reason

    RE: Capture using MEP 15
Thank you for the long reply. :-) It wasn't a TI Fire wire however I found one in another old box and it was, so I replaced it. Unfortunately nothing has changed with the 20MB - 6 seconds stop. I tried another tape and got the same result, but it

@Scenestealer Hi Peter. The page I found was only an example as I obviously don't know which set Matthew has and why I'm saying look for the TVs manual, although in this case it may not have helped as manuals don't often specify bit rate information

Midi Synchronization - running as master or slave
Hi, been playing around with Music Maker for a while (amongst many other daws/sequencers), and have got most things figured out, but I can't seem to get midi sync working either as a master or slave.. anyone had any luck with that? I've tried both

I have a Thunderbolt 3 port. And I have 30 days to test the unit from B&H.  I only have to pay return shipping if it doesn't do what I want, but I am very hopeful it will.   @keruxjeff Does your laptop include a Thunderbolt port? ... I would

Having been in the Mini DV world for many years, and now transferring VHS via an analogue capture solution (in my case, an internal capture card), I would strongly strongly strongly recommend finding a Firewire PCMCIA card for your laptop. DV

Interesting. On my AMD box, all SATA ports are usable as RAID or other. (Chose the Array drives in a BIOS Utility.) But booting into a C: Drive on RAID is problematic, even with spinning drives. I just keep a simple C drive, install Apps on D, and

@pmikep Hi Mike. What actually happened was I could not use SATA ports 1 & 2 at all. Raid drives were put in ports 3 & 4 to make the C: drive and my two WD black hard drives ran independently on ports 5 & 6. As I didn't have any

It sounds terribly complicated. But the line about "... all SATA ports run at RAID mode together" makes me think I'm on the right track with respect to SSD on a single boot drive. (If one really needs RAID, there are hardware cards one can buy with
