    RE: Brightness/Contrast/Gamma Controls-Unwanted linkage
@browj2 @CubeAce John, thanks for the video, but I disagree, they are linked. You move the mid and the low is changed. As you say: If the Gamma selections were linked, they would just be fighting with each other. That is exactly what is happening in

RE: How to edit a track in details
@Jane1 Hi. I am a little surprised by this question as you seem to have been doing this for quite a while. These are my personal suggestions. Personally I would not use MEP for this but a dedicated audio editing package. There are plenty of good

RE: problems with the external audio (on different track)
Hi Jeff, The format is .wav and there is music in it (Classical), and...yes, there was a huge distortion. But actually, you solved the problem for me, because as you mentioned it should be about 16 bit, while I tried to put there 32 bits! I have

@Marc-Goder Hi Marc. The audio bit rate change is also a good catch. Something I have never seen before but will assume that drops with volume change as opposed to time passing. It is still being recorded at a constant frame rate

RE: problems with the external audio (on different track)
@Gideon-L Hi Gideon. Movie Studio should be able to handle standard 32 bit wav files but they require much more motherboard ram cache. Increasing the amount of buffers in the audio section of the program setup should help but don't increase them by

@Mary-Stutzman Hi The fade in out for the start and end of the audio clip is the same as for images and video, use either: the Fade in/out transition  drag the handles indicated in the image below (the start handle has already been moved to create

@Dean-Gotcher You are going back a bit to infer the use of a 'Grannies Tranny' used mainly in the days of analog recording to ensure there were no phase anomalies when a stereo broadcast signal may have been played on a mono transistor radio or the

@browj2 Hi John. You only have 20 db of gain available using that method and the volume gain is still way too low. The file itself is not even re-scanned, calculated and re-sampled and then re-written. Using the normalization right click on the

@Tony-Haack Hi Tony, I gave you two long messages about doing Voice Over in this thread. Read them again. The best place to do VO is right in the video editor as I described because you can also make adjustments to the video part if necessary. ME3

@johnebaker Hi John. Or for the same reason as for video - the less information to encode the higher the compression, now if the thunder was a full orchestra in full swing the bitrate it could be very different. You could be right. AAC is far more

Just "upgraded" (questionable), from Movie Studio Platinum 17 to Movie Studio 2022 Platinum. In 17 I would add media, which was a recording that contained two audio tracks. It would automatically put the video and each audio track in its own row on
