  @Tristan-Phipps Since version 2021 Music Maker is 64 bits and you cannot install multiple 64 bit versions of Music Maker. But you can install 32 bit versions and 64 bit versions at the same time. This means that you probably installed Music Maker

  Yes, as @johnebaker suggested, try the 'proxy' setting in "Options> Preferences> General". Alternately, there is a "use legacy MP3" setting in the 'Internal' menu, though I do not know if this would help in your case and the option does not

  I'm having an issue with one song that plays then cuts out

  I do the cleanup in Cleaning Lab, then save the newly created WAV. I open the newly created WAV in ACID Pro. I do the fine tuning, like adjusting the dB levels, and cleaning the intro and outro of the song if needed. I then render the file as a FLAC

  @browj2, yes, I am aware of the Paintshop Pro/VideoStudio Pro and Pinnacle forums that have sprung up with the demise of the "official" forums. As for Scorefitter, never really used any of the music. Smartsound with Sonicfire Pro was my choice. Ever
