RE: Comparison Chart VPX vs MEP High-End Audio Mastering
@CubeAce Hi Ray, I don't see what you say and I don't see that this has anything to do with High-End Mastering. For export, the sample rate is 48 kHz for both MEP and VPX - never 192 kHz; it's the Bitrate that goes to 192 kBit/s. The max for export

Comparison Chart VPX vs MEP High-End Audio Mastering
On the Comparison chart of VPX vs MEP, under Audio, is High-End Audio Mastering. VPX has it; MEP does not. Does anyone know what this means? I can't see any difference in the Mastering effects between VPX12 & MEP2021 Plus/Premium. I looked at

RE: anti-aliasing
it is under Izotope 64bit SRC. Hi John, indeed it is; I've just discovered that. But I'm still wondering: Does the native sample rate and bit depth converter on SF 3.0 set to maximum / mastering quality use an anti-aliasing filter automatically or

RE: anti-aliasing
Hi Jeff, Thanks for the reply, but I'm talking about anti-aliasing for digital audio, i.e. prior to reducing bit rate, the frequencies the new bit rate will be unable to reproduce are removed, so to avoid artefact (alias) created when the new

RE: anti-aliasing
@Scrivello Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. "Antialiasing" is a term most commonly applied to graphic objects (images and the like). For audio, and this is what I think you mean, we talk about Dithering. (If you want a rather technical

anti-aliasing
Hello, For a while I've been using Sound Forge Pro 3.0 to downsample 48kHz files to 44.1kHz for every day use. Recently, I've been finding out about the need for anti-aliasing when doing this. All the files I've done so far over the years in Sound

RE: Cutting off 10 seconds at the end
I recall this issue mentioned before but I do know of a fix. Make sure you are saving as the same sample rate or use the sample rate converter prior to save or save as.You could try resetting SF to the factory default settings ('File' menu in SF

Cutting off 10 seconds at the end
I'm using Sound Forge Audio Studio 12.6. I record my music on my home recording software (Sonor Home 7), edit it, mix it, eq it, etc. I use Sound Forge for the almost final mastering. One time I open Sound Forge, upload the music and everything

Off topic but, for serial numbers, passwords and such. I have been using the free Password Safe for many moons. Each entry has a 'notes' box for other info, aside for the usual username and password fields. It is as secure as your master alphanumeric

RE: Send From Channel In Mixer?
create as many 'Bus's' as you may need, assign tracks to Bus's, then assign the outputs of the Bus's to any outs on your audio interface. Click the 'Master' tab on the Bus, open the output box and assign away 😀

RE: [Solved] Soundpool: format cannot be read .mxcogg
@wildeprods Hi . . . . The program says, you can't do that because the elements no longer exist because it's not Song Maker and DOES NOT function as Song Maker, but as Live Pads/Live Arranger", so you are stuck with a 2-minute Live pads demo song

@johnbaker You wrote: "IIRC they are locked to the program they were purchased for". Well, how incredibly stupid is that? I can understand Magix's protectionism so their mxc loops can't be used on another company's products. But to be SO

[Closed] Master bus
I switched from Vegas 11 to 18. After quite a bit of searching I cannot find the "master bus" as it was called in Vegas 11 where I could use a slider to raise or lower the entire project volume. Where is the equivalent function in 18. Thanks.

a couple of tips for better stability?
So, I, like probably the rest of us, have spent years struggling with Acid stability. My projects are relatively simple - DJ mixes with just a few audio tracks, a couple of VSTs on each track, and some more on the master but. But for whatever reason

Sound Forge Audio Studio 14 - Did I buy the wrong thing?
For years I used SoundForge Pro 4 and 6 to do a few basic things. Those no longer work, are 16 bit, etc, so I had to upgrade to a newer version, Audio Studio 14. All I want to is: Trim the beginning and/or end of a WAV file Fade the end of a WAV

I am not sure, but in 'View> Record options', try setting 'Monitor' to 'ON' or 'AUTO. This can create a feedback loop though in some systems, but you will hear immediately if it does. Below are the record instructions for SF Pro-11 and later. Pro
