RE: No work!
Hi I filming in 1920 1080 p ( 28MB/s) and in Bluray slider default is 18mb!!! I presume you are recording in 1080 50Progressive? The "default" export template in VPX is set for 1080 25interlaced which is the Bluray standard, and as such does not

RE: Incomplete removal of borders when using Magix stabilization module
Thanks for the video clips - I installed the Lagarith codec and tested the stabilisation with Mercalli v2 - I had to use MEP 2019 as my 2016 installation only has Mercalli v4 - and this is the before and after result of a default settings analysis,

RE: [Feedback] How do you like version 16.0.2.306 ?
@MAGIX_Redaktion Hello Mathias, The list of problems, with one exception, item 16 - 3D titles, still stands: https://www.magix.info/us/forum/feedback-how-do-you-like-version-16-0-2-304--1218088/?page=2#ca1428755 I am dismayed about points 1 and 2,

Well thank you once again Magix. You have just managed to put me back 2 years.I took the chance on 306 because I was having crashing and freezing with 304 and now I am back to jerky unstable playback.I really don't know what the answer is here. You

RE: Can you play an Uncompressed AVI file on TV?
Hi . . . But then won’t the video be compressed in an MP4 or AVCHD file? . . . Yes considerably compared to an uncompressed AVI file, however as I said above - the difference in image quality compared to uncompressed AVI, is negligible subject to

@sheppo Yes, thank you sheppo. I actually looked there first when researching problems I had initially. Controller is integral to MIDI functionality which is half of Acid, at least for me. Will

RE: Rendering artifats
Hi Duncan, Out of interest, why are you wanting to go to the BlackMagic camera presumably to replace your Panasonic HC-X 200. Unless you are doing very high level work, you could be letting yourself in for a lot of hard work, not to mention a lot

@v850tw Hi . . . . I see that they are showing RAM, and another type of memory [forget the name] and they add it up as total RAM. . . . . That will probably be Virtual memory which is really some of the hard drive space . . . . . I wonder if that is

RE: Speed - 8mm film scanned at 20fps - need 16fps
Hi Jeff, Here is the link to the one that I purchased, the Pro model, 1080P, though not through Amazon. Look at the comments by Steve H. I wouldn't purchase the older version 720P, but so far, I find the 1080P to be very good. There is a slight

Hi Seamus. I assume you've seen YT's own recommendations on this page? I've never uploaded any 4:3 footage to YT so can't comment on the specifics you ask about; my personal inclination would NOT be to crop/resize in VPX, nor to change the ratio on

Uploading PAL SD 4:3 to YouTube AND Mastering an old DVD Master
Two in one question here, but very related... I have an old movie I shot many moons ago. It’s PAL 4:3, Interlaced at Bottom Field First. I only have the PAL DVD master. I've cleaned up some audio and video 'discrepancies' that modern technology

RE: Pitches of Soundloops?
Hi, welcome to the Magix forums. Say I want a C flat, what do I do? That's quite easy, since Western Music uses Equal Temperament tuning: Cb = B. Finally, what do you do if a loop is longer than you need? For example, i have a bar of A minor

Pitches of Soundloops?
Hi all, Downloaded MM19 and have two problems with soundloop pitches. I think someone posted earlier to say that pitch 1-2-3.. etc are keys of C, D, E etc. If all soundloops are made in the same key, why confuse the bejeezus out of everyone and

@jak.willis, @johnebaker Hi John, what you have described is the job for the quality slider, ie, the movement side of things in the compression used within the encoding algorithm. The bit rate compression happens from the sensor readings and

RE: Burned discs will not play on either of two DVD players
The project is in two parts. Both used only about half (+/-) of the dual layer discs (which I had on hand), so a minor rearrangement for uses about 80% capacity of each. As far as trying to read the DL discs, my players seemed to be hopping all over

Perhaps if you rename the higher level folder, so that you can launch AP8. Then, add back half of the plugins. If it doesn't crash, you know it's in the other half. Add back half of whatever remains, and half again, until you isolate the troublesome
