The Night Before Retirement.

How cruel can we be to officially decalre to a person that hence forth you are a liability now despite the fact that he wants to continue his contribution to the economy & society.

A life long journey full of memories, achievements, raising and caring for loved ones all comes to an end - I often wonder how would the night before retirement be and even the slightest thought of it quivers me, perhaps I won't be able to handle it, how can one sleep on that night?

Dedicated to a very respected colleague Mr. Ahmed Vakil who was put to retirement under the laws of society though his will, health and determination was envious to young executives.

Hello Rana ....

You are an excellent JazzMan also my friend ....
And this track shows very well ....
Your dedication is all your honor, but unfortunately today the market economy is unforgiving ....
Like me, your friend has suffered this sad law .... But after all, now I have no regrets ....

Good weekend ....

Excellent work! The perfect marriage between Easy Listening and Jazz rhythms. And how beautiful dedication... you are right, our society is becoming more and more ruthless with the older people... it seems that more and more the years and appearance count more than the experience and knowledge.

Hello my friend,

If I understood you correctly, the older man was forced into retirement, so that young people get this job ... well, if he has the age, then I do not think it so bad and he can in his retirement, still enjoy. .. here in Germany it is mostly the other hand, since the levels of older people to work and young people have no job that is not right ... the feeling before the last day I also know, when I was discharged worde and at 49 years, I was not in a hurry for a new job ... now I work only 90 hours per month, which is not much, but it is enough just to live like this ...

you really brought this song to express your feelings ....

Greetings to you dear

Hartmut

That´s a great fusion of Jazz and Funk, this song grooves.

I think quite different concerning retirement. No panic, no fear, just the opposite. To be unemployed must be great - music from the morning up to the evening, to do what ever you like, what the hell should be unsetting?

Wow! This music opened my ears!!! ... and I'm  feel, .. komposition elements are perform well here, .. sounds .. as if you ... The ... what you hear,... in you ... have achieved!

Very inspiring ... except the end,.. because you have leave the concentration?! ...

PS: Sounds sometimes, ... also ... as if you intuitively game!

Your music is very optimistic and the retirement is a component of our life. One should be happy because many don't experience the retirement. Karin

I wish I could retire right now. I'm working much harder than I would like. But enough about me....this is very good. You should introduce Mr. Ahmed Vakil to MMM and the joy of creative expression.

Waiting for my retirement for the one or the other year now, I know how it is with the sleepless nights (not only the last one)...
I feel similar like ThaiArne.
Nevertheless I loved my occupation all the years over....
But there are so many things to do now like better....

That is a fine piece of music what you let us hear, crowned by a really good cover...
worth 5*

Very pleasant to hear.

I think, when we go into retirement, then it gets more jazzy
