I couldn't agree more....... just bought MEP 2020.... cannot render a file in Mp4 to save my life. Tried EVERYTHING! The cost of the codec was minimal - less than $5.00, why, why ,why is it not included in the product and made sure it works before sale.

Posts dating back 12 years , all complaining about the same thing - lack of clarity and useless tutorials. Magix obviously has no intention of addressing the issue - what a shame. The app would appear to have potential but as the previous post says, it lacks usability. I wish I had looked at these pages before buying - then I wouldn't have!

So, it appears that I watched this video about a year ago before using MEP hardly at all. Now that I've watched again, after using the program a little while, the techniques you demonstrate make much more sense. Thanks Again.

I have spent all day trying to finds a location on this website to purchase a voucher to talk to someone about re-installing Sound-Forge 9 after my hard drive failed and had to be replaced.. I re-installed the program but it wont run with out entering the serial number. The serial number in the book gives me 'an invalid' number.Any one that can tell me how to buy a voucher would be very helpful.

Good idea to update the tutorial John. I like the idea of each channel that is linked gets a blue rectangle around it to show at a glance which channels are active. I also like the way volume levels are relative to each other when moved. This is much more useful than each slider changing direction by the same amount and keeps volumes relative to each other. I'd guess that not even 15% of the You Tube videos are worthwhile and I concur with your assessment on the information contained in your beginning tutorials. Thanks John, I must have had video issues. I went to YT and subscribed to your videos. I'm really interested in learning how to use Music Maker to make some nice pads for Worship service. @Greg-Kavonius The title of the tutorial is "Getting Started in Music Maker 2015 Premium..." Of course it's outdated - 2015 should be a tipoff, no? Thank you for the tutorial! However, I am not able to replicate that. I even contacted tech support and they were unable to replicate it either and have forwarded it to the developers. Clearly you are able to, but on export, mine reverts to 16:9. I have attached my process and the email from tech.
