  I've been editing the same since SF 6 way back when. I have 10,000 or so files, that would not really work. And I had to start using 14 anyway since doubleclicking doesn't work in 18.

  SF in Audio Studio version is a very convenient and functional editing and mastering program. With useful tools, good and accurate visualization. But it does not always work correctly with VST-plugins.Audacity is even worse for working with plugins,

  @Turkana I'd use that "Merge Movies" option with caution; it will delete the movie you are merging into the target movie and "Undo" will not retrieve it. I would be inclined to simply use one project, with multiple movies/timelines in that project
