Licensing help
I would like to eventually sell a track I made in music maker jam with samples I purchased with coins. It said they are royalty free but I'm a bit confused as it also states I need to purchase an audio pro licence in order to sell my song, if anyone

RE: Thoughts from a ONCE loyal customer
Wow. Using acid since version 2. What the heck, Shall we criticize the SF team for selling out to Sony? A free market does not guarantee longevity, stability, in a profit based system. This is the price of freedom! Look at all the Sonar users that

RE: Bought Producer Planet Scores--no Acid files as demo'ed.
But my question remains: Is there a way to get the actual Acid project file to assemble a PP score? To answer the question above, you should ask Magix. All I can tell you is that the song that is played is a demo of one of the moods of what can be

RE: Bought Producer Planet Scores--no Acid files as demo'ed.
You're buying a "grab-bag" of loops to create your own compositions. That's the general idea. I don't think the idea is recreate the audio preview track. What is the point of that?. You can buy some of the audio preview tracks as songs at Producer

Beats and licenses
Ok so I used royalty free songs from music maker jam on my iPad and I put a few of my own tweaks to it. They say that you’re suppose to buy a license in order to sell the music you made for commercial uses, in which I want to, I don’t want it just

RE: [Closed] Do I own the copyright if I "tweak" loops included?
But looking through all Q/A in this forum on the subject, I NEVER have found the simple answer I expected: "Yes; now that you have bought the expensive "commercial" version of the soundpools, you can do whatever you want with the songs you made with

RE: Licensing
Hi all, Ok, I had a little talk with one of our lawyers now, and they confirmed that, as this stage, the way SoundCloud (and e.g. also Facebook) are operating, they have no problem with people showcasing their work based on the non-commercial

RE: Soundpool Requests
Tend to agree with your choices re Soundpools but I suspect that the commercial reality is that the current offerings have a greater chance of selling than the above. Song maker is why I bought MM originally and again I agree with you but to be

Selling A Song I Made From ACID Pro 8 Samples
I created a song from ACID Pro 8 Samples that were already pre-built into the program. I'm not exactly sure if those samples can be remixed into a song and sold. I made it along time ago, so I don't remember what samples in the program I used.

RE: Supplied music in the MEP free extras.
Hi Ray, For non-commercial purposes, I wouldn't worry about anything so long as what you are using is part of something else that is your creation. Publishing (to the public) just a Magix song by itself would not be part of original content, as

Still don't know what you're talking about. If you mean can you sell individual loops from a Magix Soundpool, the answer is no. You can obtain a professional license to use a loop in the context of a song that will be published for commercial

RE: [Closed] Selling music created in Music Maker, using my own loops.
So I buy the software (Magix music maker) , I buy soundpool packs etc , I use parts of the loops to create my own song that sounds nothing like anything in the sounpools , but still cannot copyright it or sell it ? So why am I investing in this then?
