The more complex a program you buy, the easier it is to get the wrong result for a given problem due to the more choice of exporting you have than a simpler program.
You may have chosen an export setting that has produced too large a file for the memory on the TV to cope with in it's buffer. Depending on the export setting an MP4 file can produce an mts file or an AVI file which may not be compatible with the main TV in our lounge. I have done this myself in the past before I looked up the specification of the file types my TV would play and mirrored those in the export settings of the program. The kitchen TV which is newer accepts more file types and file sizes.
How do you choose to export your files from Magix Movie Studio? What settings do you use?
For further discussion of your issue please create a new topic and give as much information as possible, see this topic for what is required, also a MediaInfo analysis of the video you have exported.
I have tried in many ways but no succes. I can't beat my head against the wall anymore, so something I used to do by Magix Studio 2023 but the final pahse I used to do mostly with free Movie Maker, it is easy to use and fully working.
Edit 21.9.2023:
I bought a new TV and the problem remained the history. Although the specs said .mp4 can be played back on my old TV, there was some bit across. Siberia teaches (Old Finnish phrase)
Hi, I actually wanted to post a question:I wanted to cover one person's face only, in my video clip, how can I do it...following that person ( in Movie Studio 2022 Suite) thank you
Note: this topic is for feedback on the program. For specific questions about usage of the program please start a new topic, if an existing, recent, topic cannot be found on the issue or how to you are having.
Make no sense I want to try the MS2023 trial to see if the new version solved some of the issues I have with MEP 2022 and it says is going to delete the 2022, I don want to go to the trouble of installing the 2022 all over again if the 2023 don't reach my expectation, why don't you comeback to the old days when one could have two deferent version installed at the same time?
Yep, this is especially a problem if the new version has a deal-breaking bug, as might be the case with MS 2024. I don't even know how to reinstall the earlier version. Samplitude, BTW, doesn't do this...
I using Movie Studio 2023 and now I am experiencing a lot problems during editing whereby the software just show some error code which requires me to restart the program every now and then, I am done with editing tried to export the video but it is not showing any picture "Video is blank"
Since the name change to Movie Studio, I have had continuing issues with performance and lockups. Currently on 2024 and it just locked up again. When clicking on a function or object, response time is frequently 10 to 30 seconds. I never had these issues with the Movie Edit Pro from 3 to 4 years ago. Have been using MEP since 2015. Any suggestions? Like it is, it is unusable.
Each and every new release is optimised for the latest hardware to help facilitate changes in operating systems, component improvements, increased resolution ability, and additional editing capabilities, especially those provided by third parties whose requirements may exceed those of the base program. It is therefore important the system the program runs on is capable of running the latest GPU drivers and version of Direct X to run smoothly.
As a system becomes older it will become less responsive to newer video editing programs in general. If you do have a new system it is important that it complies with all of the required minimum specifications as stipulated on the Magix website for the various resolutions stated there. Some older but very high specified machines may still be able to cope though as long as they have access to the latest GPU drivers.
My own system is beginning to struggle with the new releases and is based around an i9900K.
I don't agree. I have said numerous times my 12yo old i5 worked just fine with the latest versions. Sure, they encode faster and can handle bigger videos but I have only had one instance, AVI frame salad, that was actually fixed by getting a new computer.
There is something fundamentally wrong with @onlye's setup that is causing his issues.
And I have repeatedly said how much more sluggish each release has performed on my current machine. It is a noticeable degradation of performance overcome slightly by adding a more powerful graphics card but still suffers bottlenecks on all but the simplest of editing tasks such as adding effects. Earlier versions work better on my machine than older ones. Hence I still tend to edit more using MEP 2022 than VPX 14.
You also ignore Magix own advice on it's specification pages and the warnings about user experiences using lower than the specified 6th generation intel CPU with inboard GPU by repeating the program works fine with older machines.
There may well be something wrong with the setup of the afflicted machine especially if it is a newer computer. Equally it could be trying to edit higher resolution or more complex wrappers which would have been handled more easily on earlier releases of the program.

Ray, this is what Magix says:
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
All MAGIX programs are developed with user-friendliness in mind so that all the basic features run smoothly and can be fully controlled, even on low-performance computers.
Some advanced program features demand more of your computer's processing power. To get the most from these features, your system should at least meet the recommended requirements.
The technical data for your computer can be found in the control panel of your operating system.
That does not imply "buy a new version and find it becomes unworkable".
Where's the claim/advice about the "specified" 6th gen processors?
Equally it could be trying to edit higher resolution or more complex wrappers which would have been handled more easily on earlier releases of the program.
This topic is about feedback on Movie Studio 2023.
Please create a new topic and include more information about your computer system including Windows version and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full.
I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.
Are you getting any error messages, if so then please quote them in full or provide screen shots.
Are the graphics card/integrated GPU drivers up to date?
A screen shot of the Program settings, Device options tab would help.
What video format, codec and resolution are you using - to help with this download and install MediaInfo https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo and analyse one of the source video clips and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required.
This is a thread asking for feedback on Movie Studio 2023. Movie Studio 2024 has now been released and your post is really a "feature request" and so irrelevant here, sorry.
Your post to this thread has been hidden because it is irrelevant to the thread topic, which is "Feedback on Movie Studio 2023".
Even if that is the version which you have you are actually asking for help with a specific problem, which is really nothing to do with feedback about the software!
So, please create a new thread using the New Post button at the head of the Video products forum page, not forgetting to say exactly which version of Movie Studio you have.
