  @Chris-Howard Music Maker Free Edition cannot load VST plugins. You need to buy this feature for 64 bit plugins and you need to buy the VST bridge feature for 32 bit plugins. I don't know if the silver edition can load them because silver editions

  I am sure this will change soonish, will certainly be necessary going forward (as VST2s will be gradually phased out.) However is always worth mentioning that you can get VST2s which are able to load VST3s, so if desperate, can use VST3s in MEP/VPX
