    RE: Midi no Audio
Hi there, Unfortunately, what you're experiencing is a side effect of the new Samplitude-based audio engine in Music Maker 2019 (27.x). When using Wave or DirectSound drivers, it doesn't allow for any monitoring of the MIDI input via the software

RE: Layering up 2 instruments on the same midi track?
Hi Neil, I received a reply. What I was trying to do cannot be done in Samplitude, only using third party plugins like you see in the video. The only thing that you can easily do is to create the MIDI file and then copy it to other tracks to play

    RE: Korg Odyssey
@Former user Hi How you connect depends on what you want to do ie: record the output of the keyboard/synthesizer - audio (line) out goes to audio line in on the PC.  use it as a MIDI keyboard to play an instrument - connect by USB and set up the

Layering up 2 instruments on the same midi track?
I have created a backing track for a song, and one track is a piano. I was wondering if it's possible to layer 2 keyboard sounds on the same midi track, for example piano and strings, and if so how do I do it? Or would I simply have to change the

RE: MIDI Editor plays random notes during playback
@skoopaIt's quirky as you suggest ... at best. It will work but you must save every couple of minutes or you will lose a lot of MIDI editing work. Be aware the auto-backup feature seems to only work randomly. I'm also frustrated at the "lag" between

@browj2 if he's like me, it doesn't make a difference. It crashes as much with normalize checked off or on. You are right Vin. Doesn't matter. Though I find this software annoyingly unstable it is in fact an amazing composers tool. I'm an AVID Pro

    RE: No click track option?
You could add a click sound in the midi editor using a suitable instrument. However it seems strange keeping a click track in an exported track. So, create a click with a MIDI keyboard for example?
